Barnet Junior Steel Orchestra

BEAT Music Academy Central's Steel Orchestras are built around a Senior (Barnet Youth Steel Pan Orchestra) and Junior group, comprising players from across the borough, playing a wide and varied repertoire of Classical music, Pop, Reggae, Latin, Ska and Soul. The groups play two to three public performances a year, including competitions, and a number of guest performances in schools and at charity functions. Past appearances includes Allianz Arena, the Mayor's Charity Gala and North London’s Got Talent. While it is important to enjoy learning a new instrument, we place great emphasis on developing and perfecting our playing techniques and musicianship, in our effort to achieve and maintain a high standard of performance.
